If you're looking for traditional fare at a reasonable price, there are now a few of these high-turnover restaurants dotted across Hong Kong including this particular favourite in the Hung Hom area. The decor may not be up to much but everyone wants to return for the authentic Chinese cooking, of meat, fish and vegetables. Intrepid foodies delight in the Hong Kong-style dim sum, be it the celebrated har-grow or siu mai or something as prosaic as the humble turnip cake. Clearly not a temple where you look to impress, but a great filling station.
