Views of the South China Sea are just the start of a package that also includes first-rate private dining and other function rooms in what was a grand scale makeover towards the backend of 2019. The dining room is light and breezy by day and but softly lit and warm at night, and the design budget was clearly generous – note the cascading chandeliers and decorative floral screens. The kitchen has a talent for dim sum, seafood and wagyu beef, all complemented by a broad-ranging wine list and sommeliers eager to please. Michelin star bestowed in 2021.
