Some people come to Legacy House just for the specatacular view of Victoria Docks with its backdrop of the Hong Kong skyline, but this is to miss the main point which is a menu replete with beautifully sourced Chinese ingredients like bird's nest sea cucumber, fish maw and dried seafood and expertly wrought Cantonese classics. Chef Li is on a mission to give a full airing to dishes from the Shunde region of Guangdong, with its strong agricultural heritage. The restaurant itself boasts seven private rooms, all comfortable spaces and full of art, and a nice outside terrace if the mood takes you.
